FAQ
Do my parents need the app?
No. They don’t download anything or make an account. Their newspaper arrives in the mail with their name on it.
Where do you mail?
We currently mail to United States addresses only. Print and U.S. postage are included in the price.
Do contributors need an iPhone?
Yes. The Family Press app is iPhone only, so everyone you invite to add photos needs an iPhone. Your parents don’t need one to receive the newspaper. Join the Android waitlist.
Who else can add photos?
Anyone you invite. Your partner, siblings, and other family members can add photos from their iPhones. Only the person who creates the newspaper pays.
How much fits in one issue?
Up to 30 posts. A post is a photo, or a collage of photos, with a short caption. Everyone fills the issue together throughout the month.
When does it arrive?
Each issue collects for about four weeks, closes on a Sunday, and arrives one to two weeks later. Your first issue works the same way, so you have a full month to fill it.
Who can see our photos?
Only the people you invite, plus whoever receives the printed newspaper. We don’t sell your data or put ads in the newspaper.
