“My dad doesn’t use apps, so sending him more photos on his phone wasn’t the answer. He reads the magazine and calls to ask what the kids have been doing.”

Share the little moments too

At family dinners, you already talk about the headlines that happen in your live and your children’s lives. They care about the little moments too. The Family Press offers a lightweight way for you to share them, and for your parents to consume them.

FAQ

Do my parents need the app?

No. They don’t download anything, make an account, or charge a device. A magazine arrives in their mailbox with their name on it.

Do I need an iPhone?

Yes. The Family Press app is iPhone only. Your parents don’t need anything. They just get the magazine in the mail.

Can I give this as a gift?

That’s what it’s for! A monthly moment of happiness in their mailbox.

Where do you mail?

The United States only, for now. Print and postage are included in the price, so there is nothing to pack and no trip to the post office.

How much fits in one issue?

Up to 30 posts, which becomes a magazine of 16 pages. A post is a photo, or a collage of photos, with a short caption. You add them throughout the month.

Who else can add photos?

Anyone you invite. Most of our customers add their spouse and their kids if they already have their own iPhone. Send them a link and they add photos from their iPhone. Only the person who set the magazine up pays, so everyone else contributes for free. Invite as many people as you like.

When does it arrive?

Each issue collects for about four weeks, closes on a Sunday, and lands in their mailbox one to two weeks later. Your first issue works the same way, so there is a full month to fill it.

Do I need a separate magazine for each parent?

No. If your parents live at the same address, you can put both names on one magazine. They’ll receive one copy each month.

Who can see our photos?

Only the people with access to the magazine, plus whoever receives the printed copy. We don’t sell your data or put ads in the magazine.
